Made reservations for "two adjoining" spots several months in advance. Upon arrival, "unable" to get two parking spots adjacent, or even nearby..... despite park still being half empty on a Thursday. WiFi never worked during three day stay. Front office unable/unwilling to address/correct server problem. Large pothole by entrance gate has been there for three years. Installation of speed bumps.... very annoying.

Quiet ? Luxury

Sign and advertisement state Luxury Camping Resort. We did enjoy the peace and quiet of Aces High, it was clean and neat, but the sites were oddly arranged (I.e. fire pits were overlooking the sewer, water and electric hookups of the neighbors...often within a few feet). There was a small pool, sports available, but not much. The staff was there, the maintenance man was very accommodating to a minor problem we had, but at check in, that was all that happened...no pleasantries or conversation. When we visited the store later, the staff didn't even acknowledged us. There...but that was all. The porch had some nice chairs, but the area was chained off...not for guests! Neither was the water cooler... The showers needed some hooks, and a bench in the changing area. Very difficult to keep things dry, and get dressed. No luxury there.

The campground itself is very clean and mostly all the sites are drive thru and have a lot of room; I didn't use their restrooms this time so I can't comment. I booked online a cabin for 2 nights; get into cabin refrigerator not on; called front desk and was advised where I would find the switch; the complaint I have is no extra toilet paper or dish towel to dry dishes or no coffee pot glass; Ithe bathroom sink full of hair in drain; i realize this is cabin and not a 3 star hotel but I have stayed here before and hadn't had these issues; otherwise I had a great time to relax and enjoy my weekend.

The 3 PM check-in was a little off putting. Upon arriving, check-in was painless. Driving to our site we were met with a fine gravel roadway. This road covering is like sand, it clings to everything. A larger size gravel would be more appropriate. Sites are long and easy to pull in and out. Showers are coin operated. Cable is digital. Air stations are very limited. If the weather is nice, this is a nice park. If the weather is wet, not so much.
