I thought the staff was really helpful, this was my first time camping by myself with my daughter and her family they help me with my camper, the campsite was clean and the pools and bathroom was very clean. the first night the campers was noisey way after guiet time, which didn't bother me,but the next night it was very quiet. we camped by the playground to watch my grandchilden play, was nice. The only disappointment was really that they didn't have paddle boats which was advertised, but we had enough to keep us busy. I am a new member and my daughter and her family and I are looking forward to go back.

Wonderful experience! Great staff! Very helpful and friendly. Clean and rustic. Always a campfire somewhere to sit by and make new friends. Worth a stop on your way.

Don't go to this campground!

This was supposed to be a member's only campground 20 years ago ($4500 to join) with yearly dues. They told us great things to get us to join, now have changed everything!! It continually gets worse. This is our last year with them! There were initially 3 different places to camp. They have since sold one,(off 17N, Northway, in NY) and the others are also open to non-members. They own parks in Michigan - which we here are beautiful and where they are spending money. They do nothing to improve this campground, don't even rake and pick up leaves, cut grass, lay stone down, etc, in NY! (They don't want to pay people so have volunteers who can park for free - but do very little) The only thing good about this campground is the pool. We were told we would never be turned away to camp, as well as several other things that have changed. They now allow non-members to book whenever and turn away members when it is full. People have paid alot of money to join, they don't care! They have no sewer (site says they do). You have to pay $5 extra a night for the sites who have cable - even members. They change rules whenever it benefits them and they can make more money. Miniature golf,(which were free initially) paddle boats. They only allow one pump out free a week (They even tell you when you can have it, Tuesdays only) They pump out on Fridays for $20 extra. If you need a pump any other time, too bad for you!!!! That is not what I was told when I joined! Never ever pay to join! They will close the campgrounds and not care that you lost $4500, or whatever is charged now. They did that with people before they closed the campground off 17N on the Northway in NY.
Disgusted camper
