Our stay at the Cedar Pines Resort could not have been better. I called the owner, Doug, the day before we wanted to stay for the weekend and not only did he book us, he gave us a discount. Having only seen the pictures on line, we did not know what to expect. When we arrived, we came upon about 10 similar wood cabins in a circle. Upon entering the cabin we were totally surprised and excited to see where we were staying. The cabin is actually a renovated RV, gutted and added bay windows in the family room, a full kitchen, full bedroom and upstairs large loft area with queen bed, TV/DVD. Although the ceiling height for the loft is only about 4.5 feet high it's perfect for kids or if your just plan on sleeping up there. The inside of the cabin is clean and tidy, with a homey feel. HDTV in the family room, sleeper couch and comfy chair to relax. The cabin is located near the Y, so heading to the lake, slopes, sledding hills and casinos is very easy and convenient. We plan to head back in the summer and would love to stay at the Cedar Pines Resort for that trip.
