Description
Secluded in the lush green countryside of eastern New York State, Lake Lauderdale Campground offers lovely views and plenty to do both on-site and off. Located five miles north of Cambridge and five miles south of Salem, the camp is nestled in among towering pines with wooded sites for RVs and tent campers, and cozy cabins available to rent. The nearby woods provide plenty of opportunities to come face to face with nature, and discover the flora and fauna of New York.
Off of Hwy 22 near I-87, the campground is situated just a few minutes from Lake Lauderdale where a host of activities await visitors. For fishing, boating and swimming, the waters of the lake are unparalleled, and the sandy beach gives guests the perfect spot to soak in the sun. Fly-fishing for trout is a favorite pastime on the nearby Battenkill River, as well as canoeing, kayaking and tubing.
The campground lies in close proximity to many of the Northeast's most charming and historic cities, including Saratoga Springs, home to the oldest thoroughbred racing track in the country and the famous Saratoga Battlefield. Just across the Vermont border is the idyllic city of Bennington with world class shopping and restaurants as well as a phenomenal Covered Bridge driving tour which will transport you to another time. Whatever you decided to do during your stay in New York, make sure that your home base is at the centrally located Lake Lauderdale Campground, where family fun is guaranteed.
