Good Bye MB RV Park

We have been coming here since 2007 and spending 2-3 months each winter. The past 3 years we have seen the park (it's not even close to a resort) deteriorate. There is minimal groundskeeping. In past years the grounds crew kept the leaves and junk swept up, but not any more. It is now the customer's job to sweep up now if they want it clean. The WiFi is absoloutely abysmal. The only time you can get on is in the very early morning and after 11:00 PM at night. Even then you get kicked off. I have been complaining about this since 2007, to no avail. The only reason we come here is because we love to walk aroung the bay, but no more. We've had enough. It's too bad the management (I assume they are new) is letting the place go to pot. It can't be lack of money because the place is more full than I ever seen it. Oh well, I guess city employees don't give a crap, so...goodbye Mission Bay RV park, we'll spend our $875 per month somewhere that cares.

Really liked the Mission Bay RV Campground liked the security of the guys going around always checking. There is a snack shack that has great Root Beer Floats and other great food items. It is close to so many places as we did not have a car. We biked all over the place from the campground. Also San Diego transit is very easy and reasonable for a day pass of $5.00. Great Farmers market especially in Little Italy. Lastly great people stay there.

Can't beat the View

We spent one night in the park in a 35 ft fifth wheel on March 3, 2015 in one of there premium bay view sites. In addition to the fifth wheel and pickup truck, there were my wife and myself, two dogs, and our extra car. The cost was about $95 after the Good Sam discount. The view was fantastic but for the price we paid the site should have been big enough to park the car. Instead we were charged $5 to park the car outside the fenced park in an open unsecured parking lot which was the full length of the park from our site. My wife was not pleased. The park is on a spit of land which extends into Mission Bay and has grass all the way around to walk your dog(s) with pickup stations every hundred yards or so. In Summary, the park gets an A+ for location and view, a C for non secure overflow parking and terrible wi-fi service, and an overall B for total experience.
