We make our annual trip to San Diego this time of the year to attend the zoo's annual fund raising event. We always stay at Mission Bay RV Resort and would not pick any other park in this area.

Mission Bay RV resort was great. The park had retirees and families, rules were well enforced but not over over the top. Plenty of room at your site a great place to walk and ride bikes.

Shower in your RV
0 % of users found this review helpful
The overall feel was quiet and clean (except for the showers). Security patrolled often, but never intruded. Employees, kept the grounds neat and tidy. Everyone I came in contact with was friendly. There were plenty of places to walk my dog. The only downside was the showers. They were filthy, not like the kind of filthy where some pig was there ahead of you and nobody had a chance to clean up after them, the kind of filthy like cleanser and brush had not touched these showers in a year or more. Black mold and mildew and rust stains were all over, I almost felt dirtier after using the shower. I checked other stalls and they were about the same. I used my own shower after that. Oddly enough, the bathrooms were otherwise clean, old but clean. I won't let the shower thing turn me off to the point of not returning, but I will warn others, plan to use your own shower.
