There are few Super Sites that MH with trailers for their cars have space for. Please be courteous to other RV'ers that need these sites.

Zoo was great. Free parkng (we were in a 25' motorhome)Get there early and take the first bus that tours around the zoo (included in the admission price). We seen a lot of the animals awake from the bus which has a guide giving commentary. Walked around later (huge area) and a lot of the animals were sleeping. The zoo had plenty of shade and the animal enclosures were large. God to see they also have a lot of endangered animals. We also visited the Harbor area. The aircraft carrier USN Midway is open as a museum and we spent three hours on it. Parking for the motorhome was a problem and had to find a commercial parking lot on Pacific Highway (cars can park on the peir next to the ship) A visit to Point Loma and Cabrillo National Monument will give you a great view of the city. It closes at 5pm. I found San Diego good to drive around even with the motorhome and being Australian driving on the right hand side.
