Overall our stay was ok as far as value and facilities are concerned. What we did not like and was not prepared for was the overall noise level of the park. The street behind our space was like camping on I-5. Loud cars, loud motorcycles, and a steady stream of foot traffic flowing by with screaming kids and parents that screamed back at their kids. I'll choose someplace a little more off the beaten path next time.

Had a relaxing weekend, starting on Thursday, which is pleasant as the park is not full. Love walking through the mobile home park next to resort. Went out to dinner on Sat @ Bay Park Fish Co. off Morena Blvd & t was very good.

We arrived during a time of extreme heat. It was even hot there, at Mission Bay. We went into the office, we were warmly greeted. A site was assigned, we asked a few questions, then we were "pointed" down the road. We made a turn and were driving though a community of permanent mobile homes before we figured out where our site was. THAT WAS THE ONLY NEGATIVE THING...3 PEOPLE WERE IN THE OFFICE, IT WOULD HAVE TAKEN ONE OF THEM LESS THAN 4 MINUTES TO HOP IN A GOLF CART AND SHOW US TO OUR SITE. Other than that, it is a great place! Lovely beach and calm warm salt water, pretty views, near lots of great places. The grounds and rest rooms are immaculate. Great security. Quiet and peaceful. We recommend it and will tell our friends to come with us neext time!
