fair place to stay
0 % of users found this review helpful
We have stayed at this park a few times in the past and it seems to be going down. The park is very clean and should be a nice place to stay, but I don't like the uneven sites or the lack of the "free" internet service which was very slow and dificult to access. The prices have been raised with no increase in services.

A+!

This was our first visit to Rayford RV Resort and we were not disappointed! It's a lovely, well maintained park and is truly a resort. Staff was very friendly. We arrived after hours and found a nice Welcoming Packet that included a coupon for a free night's stay next time! Spring is a very nice area to visit. If you like to shop, recommend visiting Old Town Spring a few miles down the road. It has a lot of little eclectic shops you don't typically find. Stop in at Wuensche's (sp) for some great home cooked food. The Woodlands is nearby as well and is a nice area to visit. Take a ride on The Woodlands Waterway. Also visit Dosey Doe's in The Woodlands, right off of I 45. We happened upon this and had a great breakfast serenated by a local guitar player. They sponsor concerts periodically and ticket includes a meal. We will definitely return and redeem our free night's stay!

July trip 2011
100 % of users found this review helpful
The park is very clean and well kept. There was a party of three RV’s up from our RV that decided to ignore the park rules and partied until the wee hours of the morning with loud music. It was corrected the next day when the park received many complaints. There were many activities for everyone to join in and have a great time for July 4. Over all the experience was pleasant.

Great Conference Stay!
100 % of users found this review helpful
Our family always looks forward to staying at Rayford Crossing RV Park during the Texas Home School Coalition Homeschool Conference every year. We used to stay at the Waterway Marriott, where the conference is held, until friends told us about Rayford. Wow, what a different conference experience!! We love coming back to Rayford for lunch and at the end of the day to relax by the pool after a day full of workshops and shopping. Rayford is conveniently located and we feel like we are out in the country with all the beautiful trees on the property. There are tons of great restaurants nearby, shopping, Splashtown, Old Town Spring, there's something for everyone!! Rayford is clean, well managed, and the showers are top notch!! We stay at Rayford for 3 nights for less than we used to pay for one night at the Waterway Marriott. Rayford has enhanced our conference experience so much and we are extremely grateful that it's there. We look forward to years of staying at Rayford!

Great Spot in North Houston area
0 % of users found this review helpful
We stayed here when I was running in the Warrior Dash at a nearby adventure park in Spring. It was a bit hard to find, but we really enjoyed it once we found our way to the park. The spaces are small and there isn't much for shade at the RV sites, but the connections are very clean and the pads are level.
We also found the facilities to be in great condition. They were very clean, new and well maintained.
We didn't get to take advantage of the pool on this trip, but it looks like a very nice area. We don't find ourselves in that part of town very often, but if we return, we won't hesitate to stay here again.

Pleasant Time
0 % of users found this review helpful
We were looking for a place not too far from our home in Baytown, Tx where we could get away and relax for a few days. The park was very clean, the location was close to Old Town Spring where we wanted to visit, eat and shop. The pool was refreshing and the people were very polite and helpful. We had a great experience and would recommend the park to our friends. A friend of mine that plays on my softball team also camped in the park a few months ago and had a delightful time as well. Thanks

Easter Stay

We reserved a particular sport from the map. Upon arrival, we were given a different sopt and told that the spot we reserved had not been vacated. We walked the park after setting up in our new spot and the spot we reserved was vacant. The new spot, while convenient to pool, hottub and front office, was extremely small. About one fourth of it was taken up by posts protecting the sewer access. Parking was tight. On the good side, garbage was picked up every morning, the place is clean and pretty, and the hot tub and pool are really nice. I have a daughter in Spring,TX and we visit her from time to time so we will be staying here again. But, we'll reserve, and insist on a larger spot. The resort is really quiet and protected but very little shade.

Fabulous RV park

I stayed at Rayford Crossing RV Resort a few years ago. It was so clean, paved sites, level, nice swimming pool, etc. Of all the rv campgrounds we have stayed at in the U.S. over the past 5 years (over 100), I rate this place in the top 5.
